Founded in the spring of 2011, Strong Island Derby Revolution (SIDR) is an all female flat-track roller derby league based in Suffolk County. SIDR is dedicated to fostering a positive and autonomous athletic environment that promotes healthy competition, team work, and never-ending, sincere derby love! We are a group of professional women of varying backgrounds, ages and occupations who met by chance and became great friends by doing things together that we all enjoy.  We come from all over -  Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Westchester, New Jersey, even Connecticut.
